Investment Lending Manager
As an investment lending manager, Robert McKelvie helps ALIC’s senior brokers engage with clients, liaise with lenders, and prepare loan applications.
With more than three decades of experience in the banking sector, Robert has developed a deep understanding of residential lending. He began his financial career in 1989, joining Bank of Melbourne in 2013 as a business manager. In 2018, he transitioned to a role as a business banking manager, before joining Westpac as a senior business banking manager in 2020.
Robert entered his current role at ALIC in 2023, where he supports the company’s investment lending managers. His responsibilities include developing client lending strategies and overseeing each client’s journey from first meeting to settlement.
Outside of ALIC’s Melbourne office, Robert spends time with his daughter or on the golf course (where you can find him practicing for a second hole-in-one).
In 2017, Robert was awarded the Westpac Alfred Davidson Award, an honour reserved for Westpac Group’s top 1% of employees.
