Mark began his finance career in 2001 at ANZ, where he served as a lending specialist in the bank’s wealth management division. By the time he changed positions in 2006, he was recognised as ANZ’s top lending specialist.

From 2006 to 2009, he worked as a senior lending and gearing manager, establishing the ANZ Investment Lending Centre. His role was strongly centred around risk-averse investment strategies, spanning a range of different commercial and residential lending scenarios.

In September 2009, Mark and Kevin Agent founded ALIC. Mark has since helped the company scale from two employees to more than 58 mortgage professionals across Australia and the Philippines.

Mark’s approach to broking is grounded in the concept of ‘ethical lending’ – the same principle that underpins the ALIC brand. It’s a philosophy that sees him treat every client as an outcome partner, not a customer. From the outset of each engagement, he and his team act as strategic advisers who work proactively with clients to help them build wealth over time.

Mark holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management) and is a member of the MFAA. He has won dozens of broking awards from national bodies such as the Australian Broking Awards, the MFAA State Excellence Awards, Mortgage Professionals Australia, and the Australian Mortgage Awards.
